Lex Levinrad

Lex Levinrad began his journey in real estate investing in 2003 for the same reason as many successful real estate investors, he wanted to create wealth and passive income for himself AND his family.

He established an initial goal of owning 10 single family homes and keep them as rental properties. To gain skills as a real estate investor, he spent 2 years as a "bird dog" for his mentor, finding great property deals for his mentor to buy and getting a fee for each property that closed.

Lex believe that "bird-dogging" is a great way to learn the real estate investing business since you don't risk any of your own money, plus you get hands-on training.

He stresses the importance of training and education before you dive into investing and find a good mentor/coach who can help guide you through your first few deals and act as their "bird dog."

Lex Levinrad is a full time distressed real estate investor. He has been involved in buying, rehabbing, wholesaling, renting, and selling hundreds of houses in South Florida. Lex is the founder and CEO of the Distressed Real Estate Institute, which trains beginning distressed real estate investors about how to find wholesale real estate deals.

Lex specializes in buying foreclosures and bank owned REO homes and offers private mentoring, bus tours, boot camps and home study courses for real estate investors. Lex is an accomplished national public speaker and has shared the stage with some of the countries best real estate speakers including Frank McKinney.

Lex feels that persistence is key to achieving success as a real estate investor. He has seen many beginning investor quit after only a few weeks. He believes he is living proof that people who persist always succeed.
