Jason Hartman

Jason Hartman has been fascinated with real estate since childhood. His entire career has been devoted to learning about real estate, selling real estate and investing in real estate. A self-made millionaire while still in his twenties, Hartman was not born into wealth. Starting with practically nothing, he built a successful business and has achieved notoriety as a public speaker, author and has had guest appearances on numerous radio and television shows.

Jason read his first real estate book by Robert Allen when he was 16 and became mesmerized with the concept of leveraging money. By the time he was 19, he had obtained his real estate license and bought his first rental property. He began reading all the books he could get his hands on, attended many seminars and bought properties. He networked with other investors, visited growing markets nationwide, built relationships with agents, builders, property managers and movers in many areas to gain more knowledge.

Jason recommends that beginning investors be their own best advisor. He thinks that many people spend years with the idea of real estate investing, but most do not actually execute those goals. when the California real estate market took a downturn in the mid 90s Jason had several properties in his local area. It was a frightening experience that he swore he would never endure again.

The idea for his business was born during that difficult time. Initially, Jason sought to spread the word about diversifying real estate portfolios nationwide to minimize down side risk. He wanted to create a new industry for real estate investors using effective investing techniques with the finest asset class. He wanted to be known as the "Merrill Lynch for real estate investors", teaching and guiding investors from start to finish. He would like to make as many people as possible financially free.
